About the role: 
Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to work on their product team, run scrum ceremonies, deliver value, and communicate value to the business. This resource will ideally have a technical background and excellent communication/presentation skills. 
 
Your responsibilities include: 

  • Plan and manage Agile projects including requirements gathering, defining deliverables, work breakdown structures, effort estimates and project schedules
  • Facilitate the Agile methodology and manage, lead and direct the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the project team
  • Schedule and facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure appropriate progress tools and reports effectively provide transparency on progress
  • Lead Scrum ceremonies which include daily stand up, sprint planning, sprint reviews with demo and retrospective
  • Manage the coordination of project activities with business owners/stakeholders and project team
  • Ensure effective communication within and across teams and projects
  • Provide hands-on support when necessary to deliver project results

What we're looking for:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical field
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a Scrum Master role
  • Experience on Information Technology projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and business partners
  • Strong technical competencies and demonstrated leadership competencies required with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to put together a presentation for senior management. 
  • Solid influencing, negotiating, presentation and facilitations skills
  • Financial experience managing budgets, submitting accruals etc. 
  • Familiarity with managing and updating Jira boards or a similar tool
  • Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality and compliance with established project standards
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of Scrum methodologies
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a plus
