Principal Supply Chain Analyst 


About the role:
The Principal Supply Chain Analyst supports supply chain through the innovation, implementation, and tracking of tools to analyze the performance of integrated lead time, cost efficiencies, inventory performance, and key capability building projects of off-line tools while leveraging and supporting core IT applications.  You will develop cascading metrics & reporting as well as provide ad hoc analytic analysis to increase supply chain understanding and improve business performance.  This requires innovative thinking, consulting skills, project management, and skillful manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, maintain and improve off-line tools leveraging core IT applications.
  • Develop business analytics that enable identification, prioritization, and justification of improvement programs that optimize global supply chain performance.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for current systems, accounting, and reporting methods.
  • Support or lead projects- develop the approach, communicate plans and tasks to divisional and global participants, manage project to timeline, and successfully achieve project goals.
  • Ability to align and understand relationship and constraints between analytics, processes, and business requirements.
  • Strong ability to lead multiple projects, address assigned task, meeting goals assigned.
  • Lead projects to optimize best practices through Acquisitions/Integration to leverage capabilities, reduce costs.
  • Support Train team members on reporting and project tracking tools


What we’re looking for in you:
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in project management leading multiple projects/teams.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Excellent use of Project tools and Microsoft tools to develop, track and report project activity
  • Excellent communications skills on project updates to functional teams and Senior Management.
  • Strong collaborations skills working across site and functional areas within site.
  • Ability to travel 20%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Leading/implementing projects for process/system improvements
  • Strong SAP experience, Manhattan WMS software knowledge or demonstrated knowledge of similar systems
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
