Hours:

Monday to Friday from 6:30AM - 3PM

 

Purpose Statement:
In a team environment, perform picking of material needed in the production floor for a variety of medical products.  Material Handler will be responsible to provide the needed medical device and packaging components to Product Builders.  Material Handler will be responsible for inspecting product as it is picked to ensure quality standards and specifications are consistently met.  Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers both in speech and in writing.  Work assigned daily.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accuracy of transactions and physical movement of product from inventory racks to workstations
  • Use of computers, handheld devices, printers required.  Use of pallet jacks, and power equipment.
  • Lifting, bending, reaching, pushing and standing for long period of time required.
  • Communicate with team members to problem solve and resolve issues.
  • Perform special assignments and other duties as required.
  • Ability to lift 20lbs on occasion.
  • Must comply with all regulatory requirements and ISO 14001 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0 year of work experience in material handling/manufacturing

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior relevant work experience
  • Prior knowledge of the job
  • Performs routine task working from detailed written or verbal instructions
  • Prior related decision making skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to follow complex work instructions
