About the role:
At Boston Scientific, our mission to transform lives through innovative medical solutions starts with how we manage and evolve our global operations. As a Manager , Global Supply Chain – Strategic projects, you will lead and execute cross-functional initiatives that span strategic acquisitions, departmental programs, and continuous improvement efforts across the site. This role is central to driving supply chain readiness, operational excellence, and long-term value creation, in alignment with Boston Scientific’s corporate and divisional goals.
You will serve as a key partner to functional leaders and business stakeholders, ensuring our project pipeline is effectively executed from concept through completion. While a portion of this role supports diligence and integration activities related to acquisitions and investments, the primary focus is to lead high-impact initiatives that enhance the performance, agility, and scalability of our global supply chain.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead site-level and global cross-functional projects across a range of focus areas, including strategic initiatives, departmental programs, and operational excellence.
• Drive acquisition diligence and integration activities for the Global Supply Chain function, collaborating closely with Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, Quality, and functional leads.
• Coordinate and manage project teams to evaluate opportunities, define requirements, mitigate risks, and deliver results aligned with organizational goals.
• Build business cases, develop financial models, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership that support project justification and decision-making.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless exchange of information and alignment throughout each project’s lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between the Global Supply Chain organization and external entities during diligence and partnership discussions, providing structured updates, strategic assessments, and recommended next steps.
• Promote continuous improvement by developing and refining tools, templates, and processes that enhance project efficiency, reporting, and decision support.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with Boston Scientific’s Quality Policy and applicable regulations while advancing operational goals.
• Represent the Global Supply Chain function with professionalism and strategic insight in all internal and external interactions.
• Lead stakeholder updates through presentations, reports, and regular project check-ins to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely execution.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, supply chain, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years' experience working in a cross-functional project or program management role within a complex global organization
• Demonstrated leadership in managing site-level or cross-divisional projects with high visibility and impact
• Experience in leading acquisition-related due diligence and integration planning
• Proficient in project management methodologies, including the ability to manage scope, schedules, risks, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and create compelling presentations and reports
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and cost-benefit analysis
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, pharmaceuticals)
• Ability to travel and support global teams as required, including occasional work outside standard hours
Preferred qualifications:
• Master’s degree or MBA
• Experience in operational excellence, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
• Familiarity with Boston Scientific systems, tools, and processes
• Experience working with external partners or acquisition targets in a high-growth environment
• Spanish language skills a plus

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
