Purpose Statement
Responsible for supporting the profitable and sustainable growth of Boston Scientific through the management of key projects and continuous improvement. Specific responsibilities business analysis, strategic and operational planning, process improvement, organizational design and development of new programs.
Please note that this role could be located at any Boston Scientific site or Remote; preference for the Quincy, MA site.
Key Responsibilities |
- Project Management: Utilize project management skills and methodologies to manage and implement various projects related to production and/or distribution within the site and/or globally. Establish plans, timelines/milestones, roles and resources. Ensures corporate policies and global regulations are followed. Identifies and manages cross-departmental teams driving completion of tasks. Works with international partners to ensure like-for-like implementations where possible. Provide strategy to upper level management while managing priorities and work-load.
- Identifies business initiatives: Works with business leaders to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that support profitable and sustainable growth. Wins support and acceptance for proposed changes and ideas through careful consideration of internal and external stakeholders needs and interests, through strategic relationships and persuasive communications. Provides updates to senior management and all stakeholders of progress at regular intervals via reports and meetings.
- Manages implementation of projects. Works with functional team members to ensure that all supporting infrastructure including program guidelines, processes, training programs, organization structure and new roles are developed and communicated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Supply Chain Project Management or related business process improvement experience required
- Strong financial acumen (understanding of activity based costing and cost to serve modeling)
- Strong collaboration and execution skills will be required
- Travel up to 25% can be expected
- Medical device experience desired
- PMP certification a plus
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including developing relationships at all levels in an organization
