About the role:
Customer Service plays an integral role in delivering value to and building loyalty with our Boston Scientific Customers. The Customer Service Rep IV/ Group Lead position is responsible for supporting the Quincy Customer Service Call Center Teams. Through coaching and communication, this role will assist in ensuring that the team of front-line agents are achieving established team and individual metrics while fostering an inclusive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the lead for Customer Service Representatives with inquires and complex orders.
  • Identify process improvements and coach other customer service representatives on new systems and processes.
  • Act as a role model by serving as a change agent and fostering an inclusive workplace.
  • Perform standard Call Center production tasks such as:
  • Receive, process, and confirm customer orders received from customers via fax, email or telephone as necessary.
  • Track shipments for customers, contacting freight carriers or utilize the Internet to obtain delivery information as necessary.
  • Work closely with the Distribution Centers to provide detailed information on issues such as short shipments or lost shipments.
  • Handle emergency situations for customers and respond to product information requests (latex content, MRI compatibility, price lists, product catalogues, etc.).
  • Balance real-time production needs while helping to ensure that the team is meeting the expectations for established metrics. Perform all duties within the Job Specific SOP requirements.
  • Partner with other departments throughout the company (i.e. Distribution, Marketing, Sales and other Customer Service Teams) to obtain answers and solutions to customer requests and inquiries. Support local and global projects, run reports and perform other duties as required.

What we're looking for in you:
Minimum requirements:

  • 7 years high school diploma/degree/equivalent, or an equivalent combination of  education/work experience. Certification in assigned area preferred .
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Solid knowledge of SAP and Microsoft office tools
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work remotely as needed
  • Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive organizational skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
