About the role:
Global Center of Excellence Team supports Operations projects in the areas of Acquisitions Integrations, New process introductions into Distribution.  In addition, leads teams and coordinates deliverables across functions to provide solutions on time and within budget.  This Lead role will have operations and/or process development expertise, and ability to lead a team of representatives from multiple Operations/Process development functions.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • This individual must have demonstrated strong leadership capabilities across multiple functions, an excellent ability to communicate at many levels and an ability to quickly and effectively form strong cross-functional working relationships.
  • This individual will work cross functionally to influence, coordinate and drive activities related to creation of new processes to include new product introduction, special handling, obtaining business requirements.
  • Participates on cross functional project teams to develop clear specifications, influence project direction, evaluates feasibility of concepts and works with functional owners on feasibility and steps needed to implement.  
  • Applies project management skills to coordinate deliverables, develop and manage timelines, and develop estimates and manage budgets.
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies project problems and obtains solutions such as allocation of resources or impact of changing project requirements.
  • Leads and directs cross functional team work to goals and on time execution.
  • Identifies, anticipates and manages risks critical to project success.  Facilitates cross functional risk mitigation activities. 
  • Works closely with Core Team Leaders, Core Team Members and Operations to identify program and BU strategies.    
  • Provides timely and appropriate communication to site leadership and stakeholders.


What we are looking for in you:
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical background in manufacturing, process development.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, leading teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to influence internally with BSC customers.
  • Experience working cross functionally, leading and facilitating as project lead from cradle to grave.
  • Medical device manufacturing experience.
