About the role:
Magellan is a global business transformation program to transition our ERP system from ECC to S4 HANA. Magellan’s goal is to simplify, standardize, and modernize our core business processes, enabling Boston Scientific to better leverage the power of data and position the business for profitable and sustainable growth.
The Project Manager will lead the S4 HANA implementation for Distribution at the Johns Creek, GA site. This role manages planning and execution in partnership with cross-functional teams and the Magellan program team. The Project Manager will report to the US Deployment (D5) Distribution & Logistics Magellan Senior Program Manager.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
● Communicate effectively across project teams by actively listening and encouraging the open exchange of ideas. Manage stakeholder communication through project updates.
● Model and promote collaboration while working cross-functionally across the program team and broader organization.
● Develop a project plan with prioritized initiatives that align with overall goals.
● Drive results by acting with speed and agility while aligning efforts across sites and functions to meet objectives.
● Take responsibility for project execution and lead teams to meet or exceed goals related to quality, budget, and timeline. Influence cross-functional partners to deliver successful outcomes.
● Tackle challenges by engaging team members to develop effective solutions as needed. Use strong critical thinking and analysis skills to identify risks and opportunities and implement appropriate responses.
● Manage technical aspects of manufacturing transfers and new product introductions, including risk identification and mitigation.
● Collaborate with the Senior Program Manager to allocate shared resources across deployment sites.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in STEM, Business, or Project Management
● Minimum of 3 years' experience leading projects
● Experience with both small and large cross-functional project teams
● Ability to solve problems and execute within defined project timelines
● Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping)
● Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%, including some international travel
Preferred qualifications:
● Experience implementing projects within a supply chain or logistics environment
● Knowledge of SAP systems
● Strong communication, organization, and execution skills
● Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to build productive project team relationships
● Demonstrated courage in addressing and resolving challenges
● Ability to navigate ambiguity and move projects forward with optimism
