Training and Developement Specialist II, Customer Care

Boston Scientific is hiring a Training and Development Specialist at their Quincy site to help with classroom training for Customer Care team

Duties to Include

  • Interface with Managers, Supervisors, Trainers and other personnel to ensure that the effectiveness and integrity of Boston Scientific training processes are of the highest quality.  This is accomplished through activities in tracking the completion of training, revising existing training programs, monitoring on the job training.
  • Deliver training and development programs and services including but not limited to the following tasks: Assist in the design and development of training programs.  Create training materials, research and recommend training resources.   Assist in the evaluation and optimization of training systems and procedures.  Identify and analyze training and development needs of the entire organization.  Cultivate strong business partnerships and interact within the organization.
  • Coordinate and deliver New Hire Onboarding to new hires as well as refresher training to existing staff.  Measure and continually improve effectiveness of training and development initiatives.  Work closely with Supervisors, Business Process Leads and managers on the delivery and implementation of process changes to the team.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure training requirements are completed.
  • Conduct and assist with training needs assessments.  Including the use of surveys, focus groups, etc. to identify key needs and root causes. Assist management with analysis and interpretation of results and the development of strategies to address issues and opportunities.
  • Support Management in ensuring local Work Instructions are inline and up to date.
  • Apply processes to organizational opportunities and challenges.
  • Support change management initiatives.
  • Support talent/succession management and employee/leadership development activities.
  • Working with management and HR, develop solutions that enhance individual, team, and organizational performance; leveraging enterprise-wide IT systems.
  • Identify/develop and evaluate learning solutions to address performance needs, with emphasis on a) meeting diversity and inclusion goals; and b) experiential learning strategies.
  • Leverage e-Learning and blended learning approaches.
  • Facilitate learning sessions as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required.

 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a Training and Development Capacity or 5+ years in a Customer Service Call Center position where training facilitation was required.
  • Engaging personality with ability to manage a classroom setting both in person and virtually
