To meet our ambitious objective to double our revenue in 3 years while improving our profitability, we will: 

⦁ bring a more rigorous and systematic approach to optimize key business decisions (pricing, profitability), 

⦁ Optimize and drive the adoption of our key Systems, Tools and Processes (Sales Cloud, Tableau)

⦁ Support the development of key competencies and capabilities (Sales training, commercial capabilities with MMV/MFS/SFS) 



Main Responsibilities

⦁ Work in close collaboration with the BUDs / BUMs and Marketing Managers to implement European strategic initiatives of commercial focus into the organization including MMV, Commercial Capabilities, and sales effectiveness.

⦁ Align with the Central resources such as BS&CE and FP&A Be the voice of the Division to Influence the development of new tools, programs, processes

⦁ Cascade down and drive their adoption

⦁ Lead divisional activities on transactional and strategic Pricing (price book / pricing tiering / profitability)

⦁ Collaborate with the Ops EMEA Organisation to promote Inventory Management Optimization activities in the division

⦁ Drive Marketing Excellence based on MMV tools

⦁ Coordinate Sales Cloud deployment & drive adoption

⦁ Deploy Sales Cloud until complete NMD roll-out in EMEA

⦁ Drive adoption to reach minimumm 70% usage target

⦁ Make of Sales Cloud a key source of Customer Insight and « big data “

⦁ Ensure data availability and quality, and make of Sales Cloud a key source of Customer Insight

⦁ Ensure that our key commercial data (sales, potentials, etc.) are available in due time and with maximum accuracy and reliability

⦁ Conceive and implement the customer data collection through Sales Cloud, in close coordination with the Multichannel Marketing Manager

⦁ Support development of reports (work closely with franchise leads & FP&A): e.g. new product trackers, deal making tools

⦁ Strengthen Sales Capabilities (Sales Competency Framework, SFS Programs deployment)

⦁ Deploy Selling For Success (SFS) programs in the Division, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the programs

⦁ Spread the use Sales Competency Framework (and Assessment tool) and contribute to the continuous improvement of the tools

⦁ Spread the communication and use Sales Processes (e.g. QBR Process), and contribute to the continuous improvement of the tools

⦁ Develop Marketing Capabilities (MMV, Marketing Competency Framework, MSF Programs deployment)

⦁ Manage the sales trainer and overarch the development and evolution of sales training processes and curriculum strategy for EMEA NMD Sales Team. 

⦁ Elevate the Technical/Clinical/Economic/Business sales skills of the NMD Sales Organization for all franchises (SCS-RF/DBS). 

⦁ Implement and support the Sales and Marketing Business Strategies through NMD Sales Training activities. 

⦁ Implement, in whole or in part, the NMD Sales Training model for new hires, sales management, and ongoing sales product training and meetings. Establish and execute sales training measurements of success.

⦁ Support the implementation of best practices, processes and tools to ensure effective workflow, consistent process execution and unified approaches that maximise sales support execution, quality, effectiveness, efficiency and productivity

⦁ Contribute to achieving long-term goals by identifying changing customer needs, competitive models, new technology and long-term macro trends (pricing, policy, industry, etc.) and develop strategic recommendations for future economic business models.  

⦁ Be the coordinator of management conf calls to drive efficient and timely communication


Profile Requirements

⦁ Fluent in English

⦁ Previous experience of sales operations and sales force metrics design desirable

⦁ Outstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple partners (internal/external collaborators) 

⦁ Ability to travel in EMEA approximately 20 % of the time

⦁ Ideally also experienced in

⦁ Medical or pharmaceutical field

⦁ EU or EMEA experience

⦁ Commercial Management experience and business acumen

⦁ Able to determine appropriate metrics with strong analytical skills

⦁ Track record of being able to develop others

⦁ Familiarity with Sales cloud 

⦁ Strong communication skills

⦁ Strong influencing and collaboration skills

⦁ Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

⦁ Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
