Role overview:
This role has accountability for the product portfolio strategy and its execution in Dosimetry in the context of Radio- Embolization and is reporting technically into the EMEA Group Marketing Manager Interventional Oncology, but will be led on a daily base by the EMEA Product Manager for Radioembolisation. The portfolio includes Simplicity and all required interconnections with TheraSphere. This Position is responsible for developing a profound positioning story of Dosimetry and consequently for a solid value proposition, which is fueling a growth strategy to be executed by both, field medical and commercial teams.
In this role it is expected to apply marketing excellence standards in planning and execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Formulation: Prioritize new business opportunities that impact franchise plans; Direct product portfolio development, strategic and tactical plans; drive alignment with clinical strategies and define appropriate tracking tools; Set directions for support communication & event strategies
- Marketing Strategy Implementation: Develop EMEA portfolio strategic plans to achieve franchise objectives; Review regional plans with country management; Continuously monitors sales performance vs. plan by country and provides input on local sales strategies and execution; Active participant in business reviews;
- Product Context: Ensure product development initiatives are consistent with International market needs; Drive actions to articulate market and product needs assessments; Manage product prioritization and provide input towards global divisional development prioritization.
- Stakeholder management and Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs; Develop ongoing communication and relationships with key internal functional areas, Sales Force, Sales Management, Training, and peers in other Boston Scientific divisions;
- Navigating in the matrix organisation: Manage and influence relevant stakeholder to achieve strategic and business objectives; Ensure a working understanding of other franchise’s strategic plans and tactics; promote best practice.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Completed BA/BS undergraduate degree, technical degree as a preference, MBA diploma will be valued
- Deeper understanding in the medical field of Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Oncology or related other medical spaces
- Commercial and/or technical experience in nuclear medicine and related therapies
- Demonstrates high level professional presentation and facilitation skills
- Demonstrates ability to work with and manage cross-cultural and virtual teams
- Prior sales experience will be valued
- Fluent in English. Other languages skills advantageous
