About the role:

The TAM WATCHMAN (Therapy Awareness Manager) is responsible for accelerating the adoption of WATCHMAN through driving the franchise market development priorities through the therapy awareness sales organization. The TAM will work with the WATCHMAN Therapy Awareness team to align priorities, drive marketing strategies, develop new programs and ensure execution within the WATCHMAN Therapy Awareness Representative (TAR) sales organization.  




Your responsibilities include:

  • Accountable to both the business unit and the sales organization to deliver profitable growth and maximize market opportunities by driving acceptance and referrals for the Watchman therapy.
  • Work through the Therapy Awareness team to execute national therapy development strategies, messaging, and programs
  • Set the vision and develop the strategies and programs for therapy development to maximize effectiveness of the WATCHMAN therapy awareness team
  • Guide the Therapy Awareness team to effectively engage the TAR team in delivering strategies and programs for therapy development
  • Interact with leadership from Marketing, Sales, Finance, Clinical, Medical Education, Senior Management and other groups to ensure alignment on goals and objectives and to communicate impact of therapy awareness organization
  • In collaboration with sales ops, define appropriate goals and metrics to measure value of the therapy awareness organization, develop a compensation model that effectively drives sales goals and drive resourcing model to determine appropriate therapy awareness capacity by market
  • Share national best practices around referral messaging and program delivery
  • In collaboration with referrer marketing and medical education, develop appropriate therapy awareness programs and training for referring HCPs
  • Develop referring physician relationships and champions
  • Subject matter expert for the patient and referral journey
  • Identify and align on TAR training and career development needs with the training group and sales leadership



What we’re looking for in you:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing or Life Science area; RN or MBA preferred;
  • Proven track record (7+ years) of experience in Lifesciences, Marketing Product Manager, Medical Sales, Field Clinical Engineer in an FDA-regulated environment (cardiovascular, peripheral, structural heart, and/or rhythm preferred);
  • Experience in market development in the medical industry; proven ability to drive growth in new therapies;
  • Proven ability to build solid rapport with key physicians and medical leadership;
  • Experience managing and developing sales professionals;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with capability to communicate concisely at a senior management level and across business units;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proactive cross-functional team player with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional colleagues;
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to execution;
  • Ability to translate voice of customer and market dynamics into the organization;
  • Must have the ability to manage simultaneous priorities, changing deadlines, and limited resources;
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite, especially MS Word and PowerPoint;
  • Will include travel (50%) to customers, medical meetings, corporate offices and/or other BSC facilities
