Due to a Maternity leave we are looking for a motivated and hands-on marketing candidate with a track record in first initiatives in downstream marketing supporting a sales team. As a self-starter, this role takes on ownership and accountability with a proven ability to identify opportunities and adapt EMEA level strategies locally to generate results. This position partners with national and regional sales management to drive and implement key activities.



Country Marketing Manager Pelvic Health (Men´s and Women´s Health) Central Western Cluster


This function will be accountable for driving the local downstream marketing in CWC cluster (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) focussing on marketing (multichannel) strategy break down from EMEA and with a focus on the respective implementation and successful execution, as well as local demand creation.


Expected competencies include market and customer insights, business acumen, value proposition

Key activities will include:

  • Downstream marketing: Responsibility for the local marketing management for PH franchises (Men´s health that includes erectile restoration and male incontinence business, and women´s health that contains SUI & PFR business) with the respective hands on implementation and execution of marketing programs, content and campaigns driving demand
  • Operational Marketing: Supporting the sales strategy development, sales analytics and assessment, implementing customer and awareness events (digital and f2f) as well as local congresses
  • KOL Mmgt: Identifying and developing KOL relationships with the respective sales partners
  • Collaboration: Establishment of effective working relationships with sales management and stakeholders for him/herself and for the team to ensure that our products and services are implemented through the teams by sales enablement and marketing demand generation programs


Marketing strategy local tailoring

    • Breaks down the headquarter strategies to resonate and gain traction at local level
    • Provides european program framework break down structures/ standards and builds local launch plans and track performances


Local implementation and execution

    • Develops, establishes and executes (digital) marketing strategies and tactics to meet organizational objectives
    • Ensure each franchise Value prop is embedded in any promotion
    • Lead Country franchise content development
    • Implements programs & messaging across multiple channels and establishes long-term customer engagement programs and clearly identifies the relevant channel mix that adds to the experience design at local level ( incl local social media adhering to local laws )
    • Trains the respective teams on marketing content
      • Analyze performance that leverage behavioral interest profiling to drive new client acquisition & sales revenue
    • Tracks the financial performance and KPIs to adapt marketing respectively, prepare and lead marketing QBRs
    • Creates effective, compelling positioning, messaging through storytelling, and sales tools that are understood, trained and used
    • Ensures legal and internal compliance of all marketing content
    • Leads national/cluster customer events and national congresses


  • Demand generation & customer management
    • Contribute to DTP/DTR strategies within the country working closely with sales team (especially BDMs)
    • Works with Sales to cultivate reference accounts for products and service
    • Identifies client success stories and work with marketing to create appropriate case studies and collateral (S,T&P, competitive based strategies and objection handling)
    • Stays abreast of market trends to drive topics for client webinar and whitepaper strategies


Requirements CWC Country Marketing Manager


  • Business or Marketing degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ work experience in a marketing management function or equivalent position
  • Sales or entrepreneurial experience is preferred
  • Experience working within medical and/or pharmaceutical sector is required, additional experience within the urological sector is desirable
  • Strong commercial background and proven track record of successful in country marketing planning and execution resulting in plan achievement
  • Strong understanding on the opportunities of digital transformation and customer experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen and long-term business planning experience
  • Good clinical understanding
  • Previous experience cooperating with medical societies for joint program development preferred
  • Good understanding of market access processes and regulatory systems in one or more EU countries
  • Very good problem-solving abilities
  • Very good analytical, creative and out of the box thinking skills are desirable
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German


Hub location Dusseldorf preferred:  Germany Remote-based marketing manager

Travel: 40-50%
