Senior Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Specialist to support the growth and expansion of our Urology/Axonics portfolio. This role is responsible for leading Axonics portfolio launches, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong partnerships with key stakeholders to advance adoption of innovative urology solutions.
Based in Riyadh or Jeddah, this role reports to the Franchise Lead/HGT and plays a critical role in shaping commercial strategy, enabling clinical excellence, and delivering improved patient outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:
● Lead and coordinate new product launches across the Urology/Axonics portfolio, ensuring successful execution, adoption, and patient outcomes
● Develop deep understanding of hospital workflows, stakeholder needs, and account dynamics to support tailored business strategies
● Serve as site launch lead, managing physician education, clinical training, product in-servicing, and site readiness activities
● Drive adoption of new technologies by collaborating with internal stakeholders, including R&D, marketing, and clinical teams
● Educate healthcare professionals and decision-makers on product value propositions and clinical benefits
● Partner with marketing, corporate accounts, and sales leadership to define and execute strategic growth initiatives
● Identify and develop strategic partnerships, including key opinion leaders and centers of excellence, to expand market presence
● Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive insights to inform business strategy and track performance metrics
● Identify new business opportunities through engagement with healthcare institutions, research organizations, and industry stakeholders
● Support and attend industry meetings, conferences, and events to promote Boston Scientific products and services
● Collaborate with clinical teams to assess and support clinical trial opportunities aligned to strategic objectives
● Provide clinical expertise and technical support to healthcare professionals on urology technologies and procedures
● Deliver product training and education programs to clinical and internal teams to support safe and effective product use
● Partner with sales teams to generate leads, develop proposals, and support deal closure to expand customer base
● Ensure alignment across cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and customer-focused business solutions
● Act as liaison between customers and internal teams to manage product feedback, complaints, and quality compliance
● Maintain accurate records of product launches, stakeholder feedback, and business activities to support continuous improvement
● Lead cross-functional initiatives and contribute to team development by mentoring less experienced colleagues
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, business or a related field
● Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical devices, healthcare, or business development
● Strong understanding of urology and/or neuromodulation procedures, technologies, and clinical environments
● Demonstrated experience in product launches and driving adoption of new technologies
● Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders
● Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical information
● Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and clinical teams
● Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently within broad guidelines
● Willingness to travel as required for clinical support, business development, and training activities
Preferred qualifications:
● Advanced degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
- Good level of English
● Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
● Experience engaging with key opinion leaders and leading strategic partnerships
● Prior experience in a senior or specialist-level business development role
