Purpose Statement 
Provide vision, strategy and development of Talent Acquisition (TA) solutions in alignment with the business strategy. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Leading & strategize

  • Work across EMEA, HR & Global TA to define strategic priorities and work effort in alignment with overarching business strategic goals, plans and needs.  
  • Collaborate with the Talent Management (TM) Director and other Center of Excellence (CoEs) in TM to ensure consistent delivery of strategy and drive best practice sharing. 
  • Lead, drive & align cross-CoE integration efforts representing TA. 
  • Define and continuously evolve third-party and outsourcing strategy related to TA programs. 
  • Define & advocate for the resources required to effectively manage TA in EMEA to the relevant stakeholders.  

 

Developing process, programs & policies

  • Prioritize and design TA programs and policies aligned to the Business and HR Strategy. 
  • Organise and lead key activities related to organization-wide strategies/initiatives. 
  • Ensure/provide final approval for program and policy modifications and manage the communication roll-out. 
  • Define, leverage & review, analytics & metrics to drive continuous improvement. 

 
Alignment & coordination across HR 

  • Ensure integration and alignment between HR strategies and programs through collaboration across all EMEA HR functions. 
  • Partner with the HR leadership team (HRLT) to ensure alignment of the Regional TA strategy with the broader HR vision and strategy. 
  • Understand and translate the HR strategy into TA initiatives. 
  • Partner with HR Operations (HR Ops) leadership to ensure programs and strategy designed within TA are operationalized appropriately and consistently with the right level of resources. 
  • Ensure HR Ops are equipped to deliver training when required (e.g., system change).  
  • Partner with Business & HR leadership in designing TA programs and strategies that are supportive of business needs. 
  • Partner with and influence the Global TA team (technology, providers, processes etc.) to ensure the EMEA needs are represented and drive global consistency across programs. 
  • Work with the Strategic HR Project Management office (PMO) to determine and prioritize project deployment plans for solutions and resources. 
  • Align and continuously interact with relevant stakeholders on any key changes that arise and cascade to the TA team as appropriate. 

 

Subject matter expert

  • Subject matter expert who provides guidance and support to senior leadership, while helping senior business leaders agree on top priorities. 
  • Research, promote, publish, and distribute leading practices, thought leadership and subject matter expertise. 
  • Define ways to integrate relevant and impactful industry best practices with organizational need and culture through the relevant channels. 

 

People Development

  • Lead, develop, coach, and support the team in their professional development Key performance Indicator (KPI) needs by ensuring they receive ongoing regular feedback.
  • Supporting in identifying skills gaps and training arrangements to achieve agreed development objectives.

 

Profile Requirements

  • Proven experience in implementing a successful talent acquisition strategy that results in competitive advantage and accelerates business results.
  • Experience managing, mentoring and developing a team of talent acquisition professionals including monitoring performance through use of data, metrics, process improvement and strategy execution.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving talent acquisition-related business results and successes conveying passion for driving and enabling customer success through personal credibility and knowledge of the business, influencing the direction and outcomes of programs and processes.
  • Ability to champion efficiencies within the talent acquisition process while simultaneously balancing the criticality of creating a first-class candidate experience
  • HR or other related degree + related certification and continuous development. People Management coursework
  • Fluent English, other EMEA HUB language would be an advantage. Experience working across culture with inclusiveness and awareness.
  • Previous Medtech experience: Preferable, although not mandatory
