About this role:
The Cardiac Monitoring Technician II interprets and reports EKG data received from patients wearing company monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing and developing appropriate treatment plans.

Holter Hours:
- Day shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm
- Mid shift: 1:00pm - 11:30pm (+5% shift differential)
- Night shift: 10:00pm - 8:30am (+10% shift differential)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Process, analyze, interpret and edit EKG data
- Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and clearly communicate information to appropriate team members
- Accurately document actions taken
- Build high -quality reports including summary of findings and applicable ECG strips according to established standards.
- Verify patient demographics
- Achieve and maintain monthly metric goals for quality and productivity
- Strong work ethic
- Exercise critical thinking and discretion handling patient events
- Adhering to any general or specific policies, procedures, work instructions, including HIPAA guidelines
- Regular interaction with all Microsoft Office applications
- Effective, clear, and professional verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Fax reports to practices and hospitals as requested
- Communicate with practices telephonically or otherwise regarding patient events.
- Contribute to a positive team culture
- Other business duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Computer literacy
- Teams and Outlook literacy
- EKG National Certification:
- CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician) or
- CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
- English as a fluent language
- Ability to demonstrate EKG interpretation
- At least 2 years of EKG working experience in a hospital or IDTF
- Hospital experience could be working in telemetry where they are interpreting what they see on the monitors and strips, then sharing that information with the doctors
Additional Details:
The Cardiac Monitoring Technician position is an in-office role. We are located at 400 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA.
- You must be available to work one of the scheduled shifts.
- You must have full schedule flexibility. Team members work rotating days, including weekends and holidays as needed. Fixed days off or specific availability cannot be accommodated.
- Training is scheduled over a 4 - 8 week period weekdays during regular daytime hours. Participants are expected to maintain full attendance for the duration of the program.

Maximum Salary: $83,616.00
