Purpose Statement

Promotes company products through education of current and potential customers, implant and patient clinic coverage within a defined region by providing clinical education, sales strategy, and support to assist in achieving projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues within product segments.

What are we looking for in you:

•            Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Respiratory Therapy, Certified Radiology Technician or similar. Master’s degree is considered a plus.

•            At least 2 years of experience in technical support to physicians during Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices implants. Aseptic Technique Certification is considered a plus.

  • Proven sales experience in healthcare accounts management and/or distributors. Multi-country experience in Central America is desired.

•            Proven experience in understanding, communicating, and training others in the use and understanding of complex medical device software algorithms as they pertain to device therapy and diverse disease states.

•            Availability to attend on-call procedures, surgeries, and/or needs from time to time. Willing to work with flexible shifts.

•            Ability to manage high volume and high variety workloads in a deadline-driven environment with a focus on quality of patients.

•            Experience in conducting full-cycle medical device sales (prospecting, scheduling, and attending meetings, product demonstrations, clinical services, closing, and follow-up). Works with physicians, therapists, and other clinicians to educate and increase therapy awareness on Boston Scientific products and other services offered.

•            Advanced English Language (at least B2 level). 

•            Availability to travel at least 50% of the time.

•            Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly motivated team where flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment are paramount and urgency often dictates a dynamic work schedule. 

•            Office at a user level, advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros desirable). 

•            Basic knowledge of Government Administrative processes.

•            Basic knowledge in Electrophysiology is considered a plus.

•            Valid driver's license and own car required.

•            A US Visa and valid passport are considered a plus

Key Responsibilities

•            Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of surgical coverage, basic troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.

•            Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and services by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
