About the role:
As a leader for the NM Division, the Director of Software Engineering conceptualizes, develops and executes compelling software strategy, designs, and tools to improve patient access to critical therapy and improve health system efficiency. The role covers architecture, team-building, cross-group collaboration, data and analytics, data-driven decision making, HIPAA compliance, and software development. This role serves as an inspiring leader, coach, mentor, and manager who creates a high performing team that delivers with passion, speed, and quality without compromise. 

Your responsibilities include:


DRIVE TECHNICAL STRATEGY:

⦁   Establish the technical vision and build the technical product roadmap from launch to scale; including defining long-term goals and strategies, and execution plans

⦁    Develop the technical roadmap to remain ahead of the market consistently

⦁    Provide expert technical guidance to all functional areas, including strategy, operations, sales and products

⦁    Collaborate across different functions to ensure a unified strategy

DRIVE GROWTH:
⦁    Drive continuous product improvement
⦁    Identify opportunities and challenges in the marketplace, with constant evaluation of technological advancements and innovation to mitigate impediments and drive success
⦁    Evaluate/identify/implement appropriate technology platforms to drive growth, profitability and Company value
⦁    Lead ecosystem partnerships and relationships as senior technical expert to drive growth

DRIVE EXCELLENCE:
⦁    Effectively align resources to achieve key business priorities, including appropriate scope, high quality and timely product releases
⦁    Practice data driven engineering in technical decision making and day to day interactions in working with team
⦁    Ensure all internal processes and external services comply with security and privacy regulations; including implement a consistent and repeatable process for quality assurance across all areas of product build
⦁    Build an efficient and agile end-to-end application infrastructure; incorporate Agile, Lean, and User Centered Design methodologies to execute on product development, implementation and operations

DRIVE TALENT & TEAMS:
⦁    Attract and retain a team of world-class engineers
⦁    Cultivate a high performing, one-team engineering culture emphasizing innovation, growth, and development
⦁    Evangelize technical vision and strategy internally and externally


What we’re looking for in you
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 15+ years of software engineering experience architecting & building products from conception through maturity
  • 8+ years of people leadership experience including attracting and retaining a diverse, high performing engineering team
  • Experience as a design thinker, focused on building solutions that impacts business growth
  • Experience providing expert technical guidance to all functional areas, including strategy, operations, sales and products
