Learning Design Specialist III

We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to join our team as a Learning Design Specialist III, an exciting opportunity to start or grow your career in instructional design while making a meaningful impact.

About the Role:

As a Learning Design Specialist III, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging learning materials that support our Endoscopy Sales Teams. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts, apply instructional design principles, and build experience with e-learning tools and multimedia content creation.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and develop interactive training materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and job aids.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create impactful learning experiences.
  • Use multimedia tools and software to enhance training content.
  • Analyze learner feedback and conduct needs assessments to improve training programs.
  • Evaluate and revise existing training materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning, or training development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced understanding of instructional design models and evaluation methods (e.g., Kirkpatrick’s Model).
  • Experienced in the use of e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Vyond)
  • Strong project management skills to handle projects of any size efficiently.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for designing engaging learning experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced applications using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Vyond).
  • Experienced with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Versed in graphic design or video editing software.

Mid Salary: $126,000
Maximum Salary: $165,100

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
