About this role



Provides daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety).


Your Responsibilities

  • Participates in project teams typically including one of the following:
    • Identifying and implementing process/product improvement alternatives to increase/optimize yield, efficiency, throughput, and/or performance.
    • Designing, performing, and documenting engineering test experiments to evaluate product/product performance.
    • Participating in Quality improvement activities; designing, developing, testing, and validating equipment, tools and fixtures.
    • Analyzing and interpreting process models and recommending process improvements; evaluates external process technologies.
  • Interfaces with assemblers, production supervisors, and engineers in troubleshooting problems on the production floor.
  • Provide technical studies when required.
  • Lead and execute Quality activities (CA/PA, non-conformances, audit readiness).
  • Self motivated, team player. Acts independently to implement and follow through.
  • Divisional and service support ( R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing) to ensure project success.
  • Attends and contributes to product core team meetings.
  • May lead cross-functional project teams.


Travel Requirements

Travel 5%,  including international.  


What we are looking for

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience 
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power point
  • Passion for learning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree is a significant plus
  • Medical device industry experience preferred
  • A background or working knowledge of Lasers is preferred
  • Process validation experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and execution skills.
  • Ability to Work well in teams under tight deadlines
