 Responsible for supporting country business through the effective management of inventory planning and control.  Includes systems, supply chain and physical storage.



  • Accurately monitor, control, and coordinate field inventory cycle counts.
  • Supervise, lead, and coordinate activities of each of the Field Inventory Planners including hiring, development, and training. 
  • Actively participates in the resolution of field inventory discrepancies through problem identification and resolution.
  • Manage the flow of assigned goods and inventory cycle counting.
  • Based on demand sensing, maintain the inventory at optimal levels that always guarantee business continuity. 
  • Review historical demand patterns and define opportunities of improvement in field inventory levels, without affecting future new opportunities of businesses.
  • Review, action and maintain target of field inventory levels, including DIOH across all divisions in Puerto Rico.
  • Review inventory reports to proactively monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Develop and provide daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports as required.
  • Analyze, identify, recommend, and implement inventory strategies and management techniques to maintain appropriate service levels.
  • Interact with Finance to assist in monthly field inventory and DIOH projections (AOP and Strat Plans).
  • Ensure all expire and short-dated inventory must be returned physically and virtually to the local Warehouse.
  • Ensures that Company procedures are adhered to in correction with planning and inventory control.
  • Develops and maintain relationships with Supply Chain Manager and Sales managers to ensure proper levels of inventory.
  • Ensures that all Company standards and local country requirements for safety are met.
  • Participates in driving quality awareness in every employee, while guiding the local organization towards improved performance and customer oriented initiatives.
  • Co-ensures that employees are notified of all mandatory training and quality obligations with HR Managers.  Tracks completion of mandatory training.




  • Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering and business, plus 2-4 years relevant inventory planning experience preferably in medical device industry, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.  
  • Exposure to and/or experience working in a supply chain/operations environment.
  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong process, project, and time management skills with the ability to organize and handle multiple priorities. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization.
  • SAP experience, plus Sales Force.
  • PC skills; Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, & Outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict time deadlines and detail oriented with the ability to Multi-Task.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive customer service skills.
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal oriented.
