Responsible for the development and supervision of clinical team members within assigned region.  Actively participates in the Field Clinical Representative hiring process.  Coordinates regional clinical coverage  needs while promoting company products through clinical education and support of current and potential customers and patients.



  • Responsible for carrying out company policies with sincerity and integrity.  Ensures clinical team compliance with company policies, procedures, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Coordinates and schedules support for clinical coverage needs within the region.  Provides clinical support as needed by supporting implants, basic troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up.  Monitors and improves clinical efficiencies and outcomes within region and at a national level and performs additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
  • Collaborates with Manager to ensure clinical team goals, objectives and support are aligned with the regional CRM sales strategy.
  • Communicates regularly with direct reports, Manager, peers, and Country Director regarding clinical activities and changes in the marketplace.  Fosters collaboration and best practice sharing at a national level.
  • Oversees travel expenses for clinical team members including the timely review and approval of expense reports.
  • Responds to customer needs related to products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., Sales Representatives, Regional Business Managers, Clinical Research, Marketing, Technical Support, etc.) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Assists with Initial Sales Training, provides ongoing training and development of clinical team members, and facilitates company sponsored training and events.
  • Performs progressive reviews during regular field visits and formally during corporate mid-year and annual performance review process.



Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Biology or other related field required.  Three+ years in medical device sales and/or clinical education experience.  CRM experience preferred as well as previous supervisory experience.  General knowledge and application of technical and business concepts, procedures and practices.  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Will need to interpret company policies and procedures to resolve issues.
