Job Summary:
Sourced Finished Medical Device(SFMD) provides a strategic advantage to BSC by delivering fastest industry commercialization via agile customer focused processes driven by a passionate diverse team. Deliver and protect BSC Portfolio by efficiently realizing the highest quality Sourced Finished Devices at best value to patients and end users. As a SFMD Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting APAC for New SFMD Product Launches and Complicated SFMD Process Changes in the SFMD Value Stream.
Key Responsibilities:
Project management
- Lead teams consisting of BSC and external Supplier resources. Effectively communicate cross-functionally and provide guidance to cross-functional Core Team members and Core Team Leaders as applicable.
- Identify, coordinate, and ensure completion all activities required to for an assigned project or task while confirming current policies and best practices.
- Ability to prioritize resource and activities based on business need, timing, and financial risk.
- Proactively identifies issues that may affect quality, cost, or service levels and work with internal and/or external teams to resolve or address.
- Create project tracking plans, schedules, and risks for projects and communicate across the organization as applicable.
- Delegate and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to their skill level and risk to the project. Elevate issues and clear barriers to team progress to allow for project success.
- Resolve conflicts with team members and involve functional management as required to ensure timely project completion.
- Make occasional presentations to upper management and key stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
- Define overall stakeholder engagement and communication plans
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on status, risks, and issues.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to create awareness, build commitment, ensuring clear communication and understanding of program goals and drive a positive attitude toward change.
- Collaborate with country/function teams, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective change communication and training programs.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and support for project objectives.
Resource Management
- Assemble the cross functional resources required to drive project completion.
Budget Management
- Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Track project expenses and report on budgetary status regularly.
Quality Assurance
- Adhere to the BSC project management standards, using established methodologies and tools to define the business case, objectives, scope, roles & responsibilities.
- Participate in regular reviews to ensure compliance with established standards.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare regular status reports for key stakeholders and Portfolio managers, providing insights into program performance and highlighting achievements, risks and challenges.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of program plans, processes, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong organization and execution skills will be required, as well as a demonstrated ability to confidently handle the top responsibility for project completion.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time domestically and internationally.
- Experience in working with external suppliers or as a supplier to large customers.
- Language: Mandarin & English are must

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant project management experience in Operations or Development or supplier management experience
- Medical Device industry experience
- Familiarity with identifying, driving, and implementing continuous improvement projects.
- PMP certification a plus
- Language: Japanese or Korean
