With that as context, the HR Service Delivery Director, APAC will be responsible for the ongoing delivery of HR inquiry & transaction support, process design and standardization across regions and businesses.  This role supports all our sites in APAC while helping to support standing up the model within the region. This role will partner with the HR Leadership team (HRLT), HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and Center of Excellence (COE) colleagues and business clients to determine priorities in these areas and then execute on solutions which meet those needs. BSC is looking for a driven and credible HR Leader who is passionate and driven to build and engrain a culture of top HR Support at BSC.
 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bring Subject Matter Expertise to the function to shape the scalable global processes, tools and programs around HR inquiry & transaction support both insourced and outsourced
  • Provide thought leadership proactively within assigned areas and with broader HR team
  • Obtain regular feedback and perform needs assessments from stakeholders; consider requests for changes and new products
  • Benchmark externally including attend conferences, participate in associations and networks, read and research to obtain new ideas and innovative practices into assigned areas. Share learnings with the broader HR teams
  • Manage 3rd party vendors across multiple HR disciplines including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Benefits, Compensation & Equity and HR BPOs
  • Lead, support and partner in various contract related activities including but not limited to lead negotiations, consulting COE partners, supporting other HR Operations teams (HR Technology)
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and new design needs
  • Manage the governance process for assigned area including:
    • Clear global and local design guidelines
    • Alignment among applicable stakeholders
  • Lead change management and stakeholder communication for Service Delivery
  • Determine applicable metrics and scorecard, review them at least quarterly and communicate to key stakeholders
  • Lead and manage internal audit programs
  • People Leader Role with APAC teams
  • Increase Service Delivery capacity to support business needs with in-scope services while creating a scalable model allowing for flex support for HRBPs, COEs & HRLT members
  • Gain clarity and alignment on process, roles, and responsibilities across the HR model
  • Evolve and optimize Service Delivery operating model
  • Develop talent and capabilities
  • Help to foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. 
  • Core competencies to be successful in this role include Global Perspective, Customer Focus, Influence, Execution, Communication, Collaboration
  • Travel is required for the role up to 10-20%

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred
  • Subject Matter Expert in HR Service Delivery with demonstrated skills in managing outsourced BPO support, understanding policies and local laws, customer service, and process improvement obtained certification where appropriate
  • Large scale project/ program management experience
  • Advanced assessment/ Voice of customer data collection and analysis experience
  • Experience collaborating with numerous HR and Business stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate complex HR concepts and products to a diverse and broad audience range (HR, non-HR, different cultures, different levels, etc.)
