Purpose statement


Boston Scientific APAC is seeking out a highly driven, digitally experienced professional to implement and effectively advance BSC’s data-driven marketing capabilities on Boston Scientific’s Sales Enablement Platform.


Who You Are:  As digital sales enablement platform specialist, you bring an innovative mindset to your work, along with the strong ability to nimbly adapt to changing business conditions/plans while simultaneously continuing to be proactive and drive projects to completion. You have strong organizational influencing skills, including the ability to educate cross-functional stakeholder teams on the value of sales enablement platform solution and other technology-focused capabilities that support business unit marketing objectives.


The Opportunity: With guidance from the Sales Enablement Product Owner, you will co-develop and implement innovative sales enablement strategies for business divisions and support key data integrations (aligned to overarching business and franchise objectives across divisions, in collaboration with Marketing Managers, Product Marketing, Sales Leaders, Sales Operations, Corporate Marketing Automation and other stakeholders).


You will be responsible for execution of these strategies in close partnership with IT, securing and managing development resources who will create digital marketing capabilities within Salesforce and other technologies in BSC’s tech stack. 


This position will start with Singapore and Australia as lead markets for expanding Sales Enablement platform implementation, followed by new implementations for other markets, which align with APAC Digital Centre of Excellence Strategic Plan.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Support Sales Enablement Product Owner APAC to define customer-centric digital solution strategy and implementation in line with Boston Scientific’s commercial efforts and to digitize our business.
  • With time, lead the execution of cutting-edge digital sales enablement solution capabilities from pilot to execution to drive growth and revenue.
  • Co-develop protocol/procedures for scaling and complimenting high impact integrated digital solutions across APAC markets in line with Boston Scientific’s commercial priorities that deliver at or above agreed-upon targets for Boston Scientific’s businesses.
  • Partner with 3rd party sales enablement platform provider(s), to enhance existing features and add new features to existing platforms to enhance HCP, sales teams and marketing team experiences which fit with Boston Scientific’s business strategies.
  • Work with design and development agencies and divisional marketing/sales team members to create and curate edetailing content to meet local market requirements.
  • Work with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community and Service Cloud teams at country, regional and global label to drive sales enablement platform integration, develop and evolve platform insights dashboards.
  • Act as product subject matter expert on a scrum team consisting of technical leads, developers, and scrum master working within a larger, cross team backlog. 
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales team to mine insights and close the marketing/sales loop with in-country teams to refine existing processes.
  • Build relationships with cross functional teams at country, region and globe to define country specific digital sales enablement requirements, stakeholder management and legal compliance reviews and approvals.
  • Implement sales enablement roll-out plans and collaborate with change management teams for country specific executions.
  • Influence various functions and levels within the organization with strong interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Be support contact for on-going vendor relationships.
  • Manage multiple programs at once and effectively prioritize work for both digital strategy and implementation.
  • Play a thought leader role by sharing knowledge and best practices within the organization.
  • Partner with in-house Omni-channel business analyst, Salesforce specialists, Mobile App platform developers, Website platform developers and content and Mixed Reality platform specialists.


Required qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 yrs+ work experience driving/influencing new strategic processes with regional/local stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Sales Cloud or Marketing Cloud
  • Experience in building and implementing a new digital capability in an organization.
  • Experience working in/with commercial teams in APAC region.
  • Digital native, with passion for new technology innovations. 
  • Demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset towards complex challenges.
  • Experience managing 3rd party partner relationships
  • Proven success as part of a cross functional team working in/with a multi-cultural work environment.
  • Fluency in English to communicate effectively across the global and APAC markets


Preferred qualifications:


  • MBA
  • Experience working with Sales Enablement platforms in healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, user experience and content strategy is preferred.
  • Experience working with raw data and drawing key recommendations to optimize digital solutions landscape. 
  • Experience working with Community Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Experience in optimizing channels to improve customer experience and sales rep experience based on big data and machine learning.
  • BI tool experience (such as Tableau, power BI, Sales Cloud dashboards
