Purpose Statement

 

The FP&A Improvement Track (FIT) program is a multi-year optimization initiative covering two main work streams (1) Planning & Forecasting and (2) Reporting & Analysis within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) domain. These work streams are led by dedicated work stream leads (core team).

 

This core team will be supported by extended team members. FIT Extended Team members will execute project deliverables, including assessing current state, defining to-be state, engaging stakeholders and driving change.

 

The HR Stream Lead willl support the project in the areas of:

 

  • organisation design of the FP&A function across Asia Pacific
  • guidance on standardized job descriptions and compliant job grading
  • FP&A competency framework roll-out and competency assessments
  • recruitment guidance and progress monitoring
  • training need analysis, training plan, training material creation and core skill readiness assessments; and
  • in extension broader talent management and development in Finance domain.

 

As a representative of the HR function s/he brings knowledge and in depth understanding of leading organisation design principles in the context of a complex matrix organisation including the creation of Centre of Excellence / Hub; s/he will act as a change champion and will support stakeholder management and communication activities as part of the project; s/he directly liaises with relevant stakeholders in and outside HR in the countries in scope. The responsibilities of the extended team member are further detailed below. From time to time the scope of activities may change as the project evolves and a flexible and agile mindset is expected throughout the project.

 

This is a full-time role for an anticipated duration of 12-18 months, subject to project requirements. We are open to have this role based in any country within the Asia Pacific region. No relocation will be made.

 

This role reports into the Senior HR Manager, Asia Pacific with a dotted reporting line to the Senior Manager, PMO Asia Pacific

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the organisation design and organisation sizing in the context of an updated service delivery model, target operating model including the establishment of a Centre of Excellence / Hub in a centralized location
  • Guide the creation of job descriptions and related job grading compliant to BSC policies
  • Guide recruitment and monitor progress
  • Lead roll-out of competency framework
  • Facilitate and consolidate competency assessments and related insights
  • Prepare and facilitate training need analysis, training plan, training material creation and core skill readiness assessments
  • Facilitate on-boarding of newly hired resources (onboarding plan and tracking)
  • Support the engagement and influencing of key stakeholders (e.g., CGM, CFO, Division Heads, FP&A, HR) across divisions in country to drive effective change management and gain buy-in for recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with HR counterparts in country to identify priority areas and develop recommendations based on their knowledge and insights
  • Support broader talent management and development in Finance domain

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Degree in HR, organization design, or project management related domain
  • Track record of strategic planning and execution of organization design, learning & development and talent acquisition
  • Experience in working in highly matrixed organizations and across cultures
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant HRBP experience in multi-national organizations
  • Has demonstrated great communication, stakeholder management and project management skills
  • Track record of identifying improvement opportunities, challenging status quo, and drive for results
  • Advanced collaboration and team working skills
  • Experience in integration projects is preferred
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written
