About This Role:

The Material Analyst role provides the unique opportunity to work with tactical supply chain warehouse/planning/purchasing teams, while also being involved in strategic projects that have facility wide impact. The involvement in activities and tasks that range from strategic to tactical spectrum of the supply chain decision matrix requires high performance individuals that can quickly adapt to requirements of the task at hand. This may range from creative out of the box thinking, consulting skills, project management, coordination and planning, to skillful manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data. The Analyst is also expected be efficient in working with the systems and tools that support the various business functions.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead warehouse/material/shipping/system improvement projects to drive process and cost improvements.
  • Maintain and update key information and data in core IT applications.
  • Ability to write queries that join and extract data from our SAP warehouse inventory to put together various types of reports.
  • Ability to create analyst reports/work instructions for user that explains the functionality and report’s purpose.
  • Background knowledge in Transportation analysis.
  • Lead Corporate projects- develop the approach, communicate plans and tasks to divisional and global participants, manage project to timeline, and successfully achieve project goals.
  • Self-motivated independent thinker.
  • Work with GSP team to define and test core IT applications.
  • Strong work ethic with attention to details and desire to produce accurate work outputs.
  • Work with Managers and Supervisors to ensure timely and accurate execution of the demand plan


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in supply chain or warehouse logistics
  • Strong PC skills such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
