About the role:
Are you passionate about driving organizational success through strategic HR leadership? Join our Spencer, IN team to lead and innovate in areas such as talent development, employee engagement, and change management. You'll partner with leadership teams to enhance performance and foster a fair, inclusive workplace, making a tangible impact on our company's growth and culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for providing HR leadership and direction in most of the following areas for client groups: competency development, succession planning, talent acquisition, employment law compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, change management and process improvement.
- Coach and consult with management on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.
- Provide guidance and direction to client group(s) to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of all employees. Consult with managers to ensure the consistent application of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy client group(s) requirements. Apply knowledge of key business drivers in making decisions related to human capital.
- Present, train and/or facilitate workforce development programs. Support communication on and utilization of performance management tools & processes and compensation & rewards programs.
- Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives with client group leaders in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance and build the overall human capital capability of the organization.
- Consult HR partners and advise regarding complaints and concerns that could result in legal ramifications; assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on policy and practice.
- Leads HR processes with a continuous improvement mindset including but not limited to: Compensation Management System, midyear promotion process, talent review and succession planning and talent calibration.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
- 7+ years’ of Human Resources experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a business partnering role, with relevant qualifications
- A business and customer focused HR professional with strategic experience in partnering with leaders across the business and geographies in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
- Proven generalist/business partner with the ability to lead HR activities across all areas and proven ability to influence change
- Demonstrated experience with supporting the business to attract talent, employee engagement, organizational design and organizational effectiveness, change management, talent management etc.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, resilient and adaptable professional who can deliver high quality outcomes that are business impacting
- Experience working in a dynamic, changing environment within a HR team
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
