About the role:

Responsible for the procurement and coordination of the materials, components, and assemblies required for the manufacturing build of medical products.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Plans and coordinates material requirements for product build.
  • Analyzes component availability and inventory.
  • Procures components and materials as required through established purchasing processes.
  • May be responsible for verifying materials being replenished are placed in correct bin and location. Handle material in a manner to prevent damage, degradation, and in fitness for use.
  • Assist with cycle counts
  • Ensure material segregation and proper labeling
  • Develop and maintain kanban system of inventory and accuracy of inventory
  • Closing production orders.
  • May be responsible for transporting completed orders to box room.
  • May be responsible for sending reservation to warehouse via the kanban signal in SAP to order freestock items. May receive internally and externally parts into stock.
  • May be responsible for the release of various production orders.
  • May be responsible for filling STOs (stock transport orders), requisitions & reservations.
  • May perform inventory counts or adjustments and any other duties involving the cycle count process.
  • May train others through on-the-job training. Accountable for trainee’s quality of work (NCMR, Scrap, etc.) until trainee is signed-off in TRS. Perform TRS transactions.
  • Understand and follow all BSC and GMP procedures required to perform work.
  • Communicate with team members to problem solve and resolve issues.
  • Perform special assignments and other duties as required.
  • Ability to lift 20lbs on occasion.
  • Must comply with requirements of ISO 14001:2004 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.

What we're looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School graduate or Equivalent
  • 12+ months BSC job related experience
  • Must have knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel, computers and data entry skills.
  • Read and write English to complete paperwork.
  • Communication ability to interact with other employees and departments.
  • Perform simple math

Preferred:

  • 1 year demonstrated SAP experience
