About the role:

The Quality Technician II will provide support to the Quality Engineers for sustaining and improving the performance of the manufacturing process with the objective of meeting business goals in terms of Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide day-to-day manufacturing support, evaluating and addressing production concerns and problems through troubleshooting of components, tooling, fixtures and processes.
  • Support NCEP process through product containment and disposition
  • Maintain Hold areas where product may be segregated.
  • Implement productivity improvement projects resulting in improved manufacturing yields and efficiencies.
  • Perform various test functions on equipment and provide meaningful analysis and interpretation of data.
  • Troubleshoot product problems, correcting processing problems as they occur.
  • Must comply with requirements of ISO 14001 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.

 

What we're looking for in you:

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years or more of relevant production work experience in a regulated environment.
  • AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-year technical degree preferred.
  • Experience in plastic part design and associated processing methods.
  • Previous Medical Device Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with geometric design and drawing specification terminology
