Hours:  M- F 7:00am - 3:00pm


About the role:

To fabricate and modify custom tooling, injection molds and complex tooling supporting Spencer facility


Your Responsibilities include:

  • Execute injection mold repairs at the direction of lead tool maker
  • Demonstrated 18 months of verifiable hands on machining experience
  • Fabricate quality custom tooling that is complex in nature, utilizing manual, CNC, and EDM machine tools.
  • Perform CAD operations including, obtaining missing dimensions, 2d and 3d programming.
  • Perform in-process inspection on parts being machined.
  • Maintain shop floor paperwork including weekly time sheets, job sheets, and database input.
  • Perform routine maintenance of machine tools being used.
  • Interact with customers to resolve issues and implement best practices to ensure the highest quality parts at the lowest cost.
  • Act independently, within prescribed policies, to determine machining methods and procedures.
  • Be actively enrolled in an accredited mold making or machine tool technologies program


What we are looking for in you:

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years related experience with certification in assigned area


Preferred Qualifications:

Have basic understanding of injection mold construction
