About the role:

Boston Scientific is looking for a high-energy individual who is passionate about early in career talent to join our University Relations team to support our east-coast locations hiring early in career talent. In this role, the University Relations Specialist will work closely with the Manager of University Relations and their regional team counterparts to help build our Boston Scientific brand with target universities and diversity partners. The University Relations Specialist will work closely with functional leads and volunteers in our business divisions to support campus recruiting events and diversity conferences, by promoting our employment brand and career opportunities, and identifying student talent for internships and early career opportunities. Your responsibilities include:  
⦁    Manage Internal Customer Relationships
⦁    Work with functional recruiting leads and hiring managers to understand internship opportunities and promote campus talent
⦁    Work with team leads to identify volunteers to support campus events and drive outreach and branding efforts on-campus
⦁    Manage intern project submissions and talent pipelines, match candidates and promote diverse talent with hiring managers
⦁    Extend offers and close candidates
⦁    Prepare hiring managers and intern mentors for their role prior to the students arriving for the summer internship program
⦁    Work with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team to promote intern talent for conversion into full-time hires after graduation
⦁    Manage External Relationships & Partnerships
⦁    Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned target schools 
⦁    Interact with our external logistics vendor to manage campus events
⦁    Serve as the University Relations representative at assigned national diversity conferences
⦁    Work with functional team leads/champions to identify opportunities to promote our employment brand on campus with career services and diverse student organizations
⦁    Partner with functional team leads/champions to identify event volunteers
⦁    Train campus volunteers on University Relations target school strategy, recruiting processes and key brand messages to deliver to students
⦁    Promote the Boston Scientific employment brand on social media platforms
⦁    Manage Candidate/Intern Relationships
⦁    Maintain and engage candidate pipeline to provide a positive candidate experience
⦁    Serve as point of contact for interns throughout the offer process, prior to start date, during onboarding, and throughout their summer experience
⦁    Deliver Day 1 onboarding to the interns on the program, expectations, and calendar of events
⦁    Organize local summer intern activities, identify volunteers, and encourage participation and manager support
⦁    Maintain contact with former interns, keep top talent informed of opportunities, and invite former interns to on-campus events to share and promote their experience
What we're looking for: 
Basic Qualifications

⦁    Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related discipline
⦁    5+ years of experience, prior experience working in University Relations/Campus Recruiting or Talent Acquisition a plus.
⦁    Strong customer service skills
⦁    Ability to communicate and influence effectively at multiple levels  (i.e. students, hiring managers, executives)
⦁    Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
⦁    Strong attention to detail
