About the Role: 

We are looking for an IT Senior Manager for Revenue Management who will play a key leadership role in partnering with our Sales Enablement organization and business divisions to create competitive advantage by enabling strategic, differentiated offerings in pricing & contracting. 

This Senior Manager will be responsible for leading multiple Product Teams, enhancing our foundational price management, sales contracting, and compliance capabilities, driving execution of highly visible initiatives by applying agile and lean concepts in the delivery of solutions that will bring increased business value, and evolving our Product Team structure & processes to be able to scale and meet global business needs. 

An ideal candidate for this role will be someone who enjoys working in an exciting fast-paced work environment, leading a global team, collaborating across multiple business (divisional/regional) partners and IT partners, managing vendor relationships and delivery, and someone who demonstrates the ability to lead a team in execution, while understanding the solution and business value being delivered.  

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leads multiple Revenue Management Product Teams in successful planning and delivery of new capabilities (via agile, iterative releases) that meet top business needs, and in providing ongoing support and continuous development.   
  • Builds strong partnerships with the Sales Enablement organization, and strong collaborations with BSC’s divisions and regions to ensure roadmap alignment and understanding of business value.
  • Manages software vendor assessments and contracting processes in close collaboration with Global Sourcing, Finance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders. 
  • Manages program execution: Scope, Budget, Schedule, Risks / Issues, Resources.
  • Incorporates Agile, Lean, and User Centered Design methodologies to execute on product development, implementation, and operations. 
  • Manages vendor relationships: Leads periodic Strategic Business Reviews with BSC and vendor executives, influences product roadmaps, establishes accountability for roles & responsibilities and deliveries (metrics, scorecards, status updates). 
  • Oversees program governance and demonstrates executive presence: Steering Committees, executive leadership updates (agenda and meeting prep).
  • Develops recommendations: Develops and delivers project recommendations to management and all stakeholders; Presents changes in IT strategy/programs including technology selection and development, total cost of ownership, and ability to drive business outcomes; Develops implementation strategy. 
  • Oversees and manages cost center and program budgets, schedules and performance standards, tracking accountability of team to objectives. 
  • Demonstrates people leadership and develops talent; Engages in coaching and mentorship. 
  • Implements a staffing plan by identifying resource requirements, writing justifications for additional personnel, works with supervisor to obtain approval for changes, and coordinates the selection process with Human Resources. 

What we’re looking for: 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 10+ years of work experience, including 7+ years devoted to IT projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery in a variety of technical areas
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional/enterprise-wide programs and demonstrated capability in collaborating and influencing across such a program
  • Previous experience or exposure to leading teams in delivery within an Agile Delivery model 
  • Experience leading and developing teams 
  • Strong Financial and Budget Acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, complex enterprise-level projects 
  • Excellent collaboration and issue resolution skills

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Advanced degree (MBA)
  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of tools, used to measure, track and deliver in Agile methodology 
  • Experience with contracting / revenue management processes and systems, including Model N and Conga solutions 
  • Understanding of SOX and other Management controls
