Purpose Statement
Boston Scientific is seeking a strategic and analytical Digital Business Analyst, APAC to support and enhance digital technology platforms across corporate and commercial functions in the APAC region. Based in Singapore, this role plays an impoartant function in ensuring systems supporting Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Regulatory, Finance, and Quality Assurance — as well as commercial domains — are aligned with business needs, globally consistent, and regionally effective. You will help drive operational excellence, improve user experience, and ensure that these business-critical applications are delivering measurable value while maintaining full compliance.

The Opportunity:
As a Digital Business Analyst, you will work across APAC and in partnership with local, regional, and global functional IT teams to ensure the success and scalability of enterprise applications. You will lead regional analysis and implementation activities across core corporate systems, ensure smooth adoption, and manage ongoing platform enhancements. From stakeholder alignment and requirement translation to solution validation and support, your impact will span both strategic planning and daily operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage business leaders and process owners across Legal, Compliance, HR, Finance, Regulatory, QA, and Commercial teams to capture system needs and pain points
- Act as a regional liaison between APAC stakeholders and various functional IT teams to ensure alignment in priorities, solution design, and governance
2. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Lead workshops and interviews to collect and analyze business requirements
- Document business processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and translate them into technical or functional specifications
- Prioritize and manage a pipeline of digital improvement opportunities across multiple domains
3. Digital Platform Support & Enhancement
- Provide functional support for enterprise and commercial platforms, coordinating with BSC IT teams and vendors on issue resolution and enhancement delivery
- Ensure applications are operating effectively, meeting SLAs, and aligned with global standards
- Track system health, user adoption, and process performance metrics
4. Process Improvement & Solution Delivery
- Evaluate current-state business processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and optimization
- Collaborate with product teams and developers on solution design and configuration
- Support lifecycle activities including UAT coordination, go-live support, and post-deployment feedback loops
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to create dashboards and reports that support operational and strategic decision-making
- Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and success metrics for each application area
6. Change Management & User Enablement
- Support change initiatives with clear communication, training content, and end-user engagement strategies
- Organize and facilitate onboarding, workshops, and enablement sessions across diverse user groups in APAC
- Capture user feedback to drive continuous improvement in systems and support models
7. Compliance, Quality & Documentation
- Ensure all systems meet applicable regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PDPA)
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for requirements, configurations, validations, and support procedures
- Partner with quality and audit teams as needed to support compliance readiness
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis or digital solution delivery across multiple functional domains
- Proven ability to work with diverse corporate functions such as Legal, HR, Finance, QA, and Regulatory Affairs
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, data flows, and systems integration
- Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English across cultures and regions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries
- Exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Veeva, or other commercial and back-office platforms
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) or digital transformation initiatives
- Fluency in Japanese and/or Mandarin is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with APAC business culture and regional regulatory environments is a plus.
