About the role

The position of Field Clinical Specialist provides clinical and technical support for a range of Endoscopy products within North West Region of Mexico.  This support is required during procedures, patient clinics, for technical trouble-shooting, and other general assistance to the sales team & their customers. This role is responsible for supporting the region and reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager. The FCS promotes company products through education of current & potential customers, and implant within a defined region by providing clinical education for a variety of issues.

Your responsibilities will include.

  • Develops and executes action plans for each customer. Assures adoption of the assigned therapies in the determined territory.
  • Coordinates with the back-office team (Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to resolve customer requests.
  • Negotiate and process customer orders to achieve quota.
  • Device Management: Monitor inventory levels, and initiate logistics, i.e. shipments and movement tracking of investigational products according to regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Provide training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel.
  • Collaborates with the Territory Manager on business strategy and tactics at the physician level. Demonstrates mastery of all sales tools and programs available.  Demonstrates a deep understanding of the competition’s strengths and weaknesses.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Position based in North West Mexico (preferably Tijuana/Hermosillo/Chihuahua), responsible for the territory in Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa, and Chihuahua.
  • Job experience of at least 3- 5 years. Field Clinical Specialist/Therapy Developer/Medical Devices or Pharma.
  • At least 2 or 3 years of experience working with key accounts (Distributors).
  • English (advanced level / B2) spoken and written.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to travel. This position requires >70% of travel.
  • Self-driven, customer focus, good presentation skills, and ease of speech
  • Proven analytical, planning, and negotiation skills, as well as strategic thinking.
  • Team player, goal-oriented and determined
  • On-call duties may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing and executing therapy awareness.
  • Negotiate and process customer orders to achieve quota.
  • Preferred career degree in medicine, college degree, sales experience, Biomechanical engineering. Other careers are accepted as long as the candidate complies with the profile of the position.
  • Operating / hemodynamic room to support Endoscopy, Pulmonary, and surgery services
  • Experience in the patient, physician, nurses, and medical administrator’s follow-up.
  • Interest in market analysis, sales, and marketing.
