CONFIDENTIAL【Finance】Senior Accountant/Accountant

Position Summary

The position contributes to leading accurate financial reporting and control in BSJ with strong relevant skills.

• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with US GAAP
• Focus areas including (but not limited to):
  • Fixed Assets including Capital Equipment management, Lease, and depreciable property tax, preparation of reporting packages
  • Accounts Receivable including handling inquiries from customers, invoice management, customer master management etc
  • Accounts Payable and Accruals
  • Revenue accounting
  • Inventories including transfer pricing
  • Corporate and Consumption Tax

• Prepare/review and ensure appropriateness of supporting information for internal/external audits.
• Liaise with Region and Corporate accounting teams as appropriate
• Perform SOX 404 testing
• Drive Accounting process improvements

Requirements: the right candidate

• brings in-depth accounting know-how of US GAAP, J-GAAP, J-Tax
• has critical thinking and be proactive in achieving improvement in financial performance
• is an effective communicator with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in accounting field with analysis and judgement, financial reporting, and internal control management
• ERP (SAP is a plus) experience and Microsoft Excel skills
• Business level English in reading and writing
• J-CPA/USCPA or equivalent professional designation a plus
• Accurate and detail oriented
• Self-starter, independent, proactive, agile
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions with excellent communication skills
