■ Overview of the role
The Program Management Specialist will be responsible for driving and managing various process development projects to support the overall program management
in Capital Equipment Technical Service (CETS) of Boston Scientific Japan (BSJ). The role includes not only CETS’s in-house operational improvement of CS execution in
headquarter and Yokohama DC (YDC) but also globally holistic process development(in both system and process) through the collaboration with internal, external and
APAC stakeholders. This role specifically focuses on program management that consists of miscellaneous supply chain related initiatives in BSJ as well as borderless
cross-functional projects to refine existing operating scheme for the next stage ofinnovation at BSJ.

■ Key responsibilities
Operational Development: Manage and improve overall process in CapitalEquipment Technical Service considering factors outside such as competitors,
macro-trend, and the industries.
Analyze existing on-going daily operating processes and identify pain points to be changed or eliminated.
Design streamlined operating scheme of CETS through the collaboration with stakeholders in domestic Business Units (BU) and overseas.
Define operationally as well as financially optimized standard processes by understanding and balancing the differences among BUs and portfolios.
Drive/manage complex initiatives and deliver critical solutions, involving and leading internal / external stakeholders.
Influence team priorities and business strategy through data-driven and factoriented contributions.
Be accountable for the overall strategy of a large program as well as independent initiatives, fully managing all stages (from concept to delivery).
Be transparent and make works through BSJ members and other stakeholders in and/or across organizations.
Lead members in program management team who manage the day-to-day execution of each project for the operational development.
Project Management: Drive and manage (scope, quality, issue, risk, schedule,finance, deliverable etc.) innovative initiatives and projects, collaboratively
involving stakeholders and creating trust among them in SCM dept., other BUs,and overseas.
Proactively identify risks and opportunities and bring them to the attention of team and stakeholders.
Communicate effectively to influence stakeholders to the success / delivery of projects, building up harmonized relationships with them.
Define critical paths in daily on-going complex initiatives and coordinate them in order to maintain project quality and to manage time and financial
constraints.
Report progress, upcoming milestones, risks, and mitigations tailored to intended audiences managing day-to-day operational aspects of project
execution.
Utilize change management practices for successful project delivery across the organization.
Coach, upskill, and support team members to increase the productivity and effectiveness of them by applying project management best practices.
・整理が必要となるCETS内の業務に於いて、セロベースで業務を作り直していく、変えていく、ことによる「運用とルールを作り出す」ことができる。
・プロジェクトマネジメントのスキルが活かせる、もしくは事業部、グローバルと関わりながら体得していくことができる。
・フィールドサービス及びDCの業務とも深く関わるため、CETS、DC部門のオペレーションについて現場と現物を管理しつつ、知見を深められる。
・海外(APAC)との接点が増えていくため、医療機器業界のグローバルオペレーションについての知見を発揮できる、もしくは深く学べる機会に恵まれる。

・CETS Program Managementチームのマネージャー、シニアマネージャー(将来のManagerのSuccessor候補であり、People managementの志向がある方が望ましい)
・SCMの他の部署での管理職
■ Abilities and Experiences
Japanese native level and English business level verbally and literally.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Logistics or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
5 or more years of proven experiences in comprehensive SCM and/or service operation fields in certain industries (medical is plus, not mandatory) with a
balance of both strategic and operational capabilities.
3 or more years of experiences in project or program management with and end to end scope, beginning with planning phase through execution and
implementation.
Analytical and metrics-oriented thought. Experience in six sigma can be plus.
Change management skills and experiences with a variety of stakeholders cross-functionally as well as outside of the company.
Agile self-starter with strict target setting, willing to propose and drive change and innovation.
Leadership experience to lead small team through teamwork by motivating members and solidarizing them for the new and innovative challenges.
Excellent interpersonal skills to negotiate, collaborate and involve internal and external stakeholders.
Willing to be positive, transparent, and consistent to work in a diverse group and contribute to an inclusive culture.
・サービスオペレーション、サプライチェーンマネジメントのいずれかの領域での経験(製造業、特に医療機器業界が望ましい)
・上記領域におけるオペレーション実務経験 3~5年以上
・上記領域における業務改善の経験(コスト削減、業務効率化(システム導入含)etc)
・プロジェクトマネ―ジャーとして改善プロジェクトを完遂した経験(Planning ~Execution & Assessment)3年以上
・複数部門が関与するプロジェクトマジメント、チェンジマネジメントのご経験
・海外の関連部門との折衝、業務プロセスの構築
・リーダーシップ、チームマネジメント、ピープルマネジメントのご経験

BSJ head quarter, Nakano (5 minutes’ walk from JR Nakano Sta.)
Yokohama distribution center, Shin-Koyasu (10 minutes’ walk from JR Shinkoyasu Sta.)
在宅勤務可能(このポジションにおいては、1日/週以上の出社)
出社する場合のオフィスは、Japan HQ(50%)、Shin-koyasu(50%)
