About the role:

As a Quality Analyst I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of medical devices within our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include product inspection, managing labeling material inventory, and collaborating with various departments to address quality issues. You will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety for our medical devices.

 

Please note that this is a 6-month contract role.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of medical devices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and maintain inventory of labeling materials, ensuring accurate and timely labeling of products
  • Assists with other daily Warehouse Quality functions and workflow to meet operational objectives, comply with all policies and procedures, and achieve effective core metrics performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, PMO, and Regulatory Affairs, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Helps to identifies and resolves quality issues and manages addressing non-conformance matters. Recommends and implements process improvements.
  • Oversee the creation, revision, and archiving of controlled documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all controlled documents and related activities.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and Health Canada regulations

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge of ISO13485, Quality System standards, and CMDR SOR/98-282 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Working experience with SAP S4/HANA
  • Good listening, and verbal/written communication skills with demonstrated ability to follow instructions and processes
  • Strong problem-solving, time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Maximum Salary: $98900 

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for hourly, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for salaried, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
