Senior Sales Representative

Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Neuromodulation Division.  To aid the achievement of customer satisfaction, patient outcomes and business growth through focused business planning.


Key Responsibilities

  • Selling: Integrates into the patient care continuum. Cultivates a base of customers. Continuously prospects for new customers, acts on leads, and persuasively positions our products and services versus competitors. Drives sales revenue to achieve territory priorities. Demonstrates knowledge and insight of competitor strengths, and strategies. Works closely with Regional Business Manager on developing sales strategy.  
  • Business Acumen:  Translates business strategy into clear objectives by maintaining pricing strategy discipline, anticipating problems, and establishing procedures for meeting goals. Demonstrates broad understanding of financial management principles and its impact on a territory level. Collaborates with Regional Business Manager to increase sales team success. 
  • People: Provides and receives coaching, and open and honest feedback to ensure success. Develops high performing teams by establishing a spirit of cooperation and cohesion for achieving goals. Builds rapport with clinicians, nurses, technicians, and patients. Actively listens to others with empathy and respect. Is committed to professional and personal development. Conducts oneself in a professional manner in all interactions.
  • Technical: Appropriate working knowledge of BSN products and applications. Basic computer skills, procedures, and programming. Competent to support physician's use of our products in the OR and typical patient programming and reprogramming.  Translates technical and clinical knowledge and information in a way that builds customer and patient loyalty. Serves as a resource for clinical support for trouble shooting, programming and patient follow up.
  • Adheres to company policies and conducts all business in an ethical manner.
  • Manages territory with integrity and in accordance with our Code of Conduct.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Must have an excellent track record and 3-5 years’ experience in medical device commission sales role
  • Must be available to be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days per week
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Operating room experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical device sales experience Neuromodulation
  • Clinical Specialist Experience Neuromodulation
  • Medical device or Clinical experience in Cardiac Rhythm management

Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.  Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.



Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Uses discretion, diplomacy, and tact to resolve difficult situations. May escalate serious issues to manager.



Participates in the development of less experienced staff by setting an example, providing guidance, and offering counsel.
