About the role:

The healthcare industry is changing rapidly with several market dynamics significantly impacting the patient care continuum. The Neuromodulation digital team is seeking an experienced and driven Media Planner to support the division’s paid media and growth marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced and challenging role, staying abreast of the evolving digital landscape, and  working cross-functionally.
Your responsibilities include:

  • Leads strategic planning, in platform media management and measurement for division paid media programs
  • Creates the digital brief and campaign plan for all paid media channels
  • Partners with Digital Marketing Managers for stakeholder and legal compliance reviews and approvals
  • Audit existing campaigns, analyze keywords, ad copy, bid strategy and elements to identify new opportunities to improve performance, goals, and KPI's
  • Develop and execute the testing strategy for all media campaigns
  • You conceive, develop, and manage the implementation of high-impact integrated digital marketing programs that deliver at or above agreed-upon targets for Boston Scientific’s Neuromodulation division
  • Work encompasses the full range of paid media channels, including Facebook advertising, Google Adwords, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic advertising, digital audio and any up-and-coming media channels
  • Work closely with Paid Media Strategist to manage priorities, identify opportunities, and develop quarterly and annual acquisition goals and budget
  • Collaborate with other divisions across Boston Scientific to communicate performance and identify testing opportunities on an ongoing basis
  • Formulate and execute media plans that deliver lead generation as a vital element of the marketing and sales mix. Your media plan and execution demonstrate your deep understanding of your media expertise and organizational constraints
  • Monitors platform comments and triages/responds to comments appropriately and in compliance with SOPs


What we’re looking for in you:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree (marketing or related field preferred)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of agency or in-house experience as a media planner/buyer
  • Expert in digital media types, platforms, targeting, and how they relate to campaign objectives (i.e., awareness, engagement, lead generation, conversion)
  • Expert in self-service platforms including Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads/Campaign Manager 360, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn Ads, and Twitter Ads
  • Must be able to compile mid-flight and post-campaign reporting for performance insight and historical analysis, clearly communicating effectiveness, and optimization opportunities
  • Demonstrated self-starter with drive to take on new tasks and manage ambiguity throughout
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work across multiple levels of the internal organization, as well as with external parties
  • Professional experience with MS Outlook, Teams, Excel & PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of pixel tagging, and analytics
  • Experience in medical device, health care or pharma industry 


The expected annualized base pay range this full-time position working at this location will be from $56,600 to $107,500, plus annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements) and the value of core and optional employee benefits being offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Boston Scientific considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may be otherwise adjusted if the position is filled outside of the intended geographic location.
