About the role: 
This Group Manager role will be a driving force behind the further growth of field marketing at Boston Scientific Neuromodulation.  This role is pivotal in driving key marketing and business objectives for the Pain Franchise including setting strategic direction for the field marketing team.  This role will manage the National Marketing Manager team which spans across the US and will be responsible for helping build a high-performance team that will work cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage field marketing activities, including roadmap of offerings and resource deployment. Generate and communicate field marketing initiatives.  Conduct testing with key customer groups as well as internal stake-holders
  • Develop and execute Field Marketing Plans, manage offering phase-in/phase-out, and formulate adoption strategies.
  • Manage a group of National Marketing Managers (NMMs), including development activities and setting goals and objectives for this group.
  • Provide quantitative analyses and metrics for all field marketing initiatives including an ROI analysis on field marketing offerings.
  • Analyze competitive information and develop sales and marketing strategies and responses to competitive product launches.
  • Create relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the market to help define and create new solutions.
  • Manage the field marketing budget to maximize on return on spend and forecast the needs on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Obtain input and coordinate cross-functional trade-off decisions to define marketing requirements and improvement opportunities from internal and external customers.  Gain cross-functional approvals.

 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Engineering, Science, Healthcare/Biomedical)
  • Advanced degree (Masters/MBA) in Marketing or Healthcare preferred 
  • 6+ years of experience in medical sales or marketing
  • 3+ years of experience in management, direct or indirect
  • Experience in the Pain Management and/or Neuromodulation field
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Exceptionally strong collaboration skills coupled with a “team-first” leadership philosophy.
