About this role:
The Director of Commercial Services Marketing will drive growth of new commercial service solutions that span our PAIN portfolio with a primary focus on the Surgery Center customer.  We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the digital and service solutions space and always looking for ways to connect the dots along the customer journey.  We need someone who can look at a customer’s big picture and translate challenges into organic and inorganic solutions. 
This position is for a leader who is passionate about the discipline of innovation, while at the same time adept at analytics, strategy, and project management. This role will need to network extensively across the Pain Franchise Commercial Organization (Marketing, Sales, etc) and with our customers to help build a strong portfolio of innovation ideas and to develop strong relationships with senior executives to evaluate investment decisions and maximize portfolio impact. 
Technical Proficiency in the digital arena, proficiency in Clinical Workflows and Strategic Marketing experience will be important for the role.  The role will also involve researching and building plans to launch new services into the market, creating integrated launch plans and leading the initial launch within clinical settings.

Your responsibilities will include:

•Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
•Conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.).
•Develop and implement commercial service strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth including but not limited to pricing, positioning, promotion, and training.
•Create a pipeline strategy that leverages organic and inorganic services/products to address unique pain management challenges.
•Experience with the ASC business model both hospital and physician owned.
•Plans and organizes product projects to include all technical aspects of marketing.
•Evaluates and assesses the developmental/skill needs of staff on a continuous basis to ensure appropriate competencies exist to meet project assignments.
•Develops forecasting marketing strategies, programs, and materials.
•Interacts with other departments on daily operation/direction of the business.
•Conducts global sales and marketing training programs.
•Interfaces with clients and customers regarding new and improved products.
•Interacts with global / regional sales and marketing teams to achieve objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
•Extensive knowledge of marketing techniques and demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing skills
•Requires a proven track record of developing & executing commercial strategies and developing customer relationships
•Demonstrated entrepreneurial and owner mindset, with proven ability to influence and build ideas and strategy
•Experience working with sales teams and other internal teams globally
•Requires the passion and relentless drive to achieve results, exceptional leadership skills, effective and timely decision making, negotiation skills, and problem solving skills.
•Requires excellent communication skills - public speaking/presentation skills are required
•Experience in a Surgery Center or working with Surgery Center customers to understand patient flow and pain points is preferred
•Bachelor Degree in marketing, business or related field and 10+ years in the marketing field 
•Masters Degree preferred
•Must be able to travel 30-40% of the time
