About the role:

This position is responsible for providing medical expertise, support and guidance during all phases of clinical study and product life cycle. 

 

*This role can sit anywhere within the U.S. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provides detailed medical/therapeutic guidance to internal and external groups including project teams, cross-functional units, investigators, and regulatory agencies.
  • Provides hands-on operational support to teams in clinical trial planning, protocol development, investigator selection, training of internal and external personnel, medical monitoring for trial safety, data analysis/interpretation, and quality control.
  • Delivers direct physician support to quality assurance group for risk management and postmarket activities.
  • In partnership with Clinical Science Team, writes and edits clinical and scientific reports for regulatory submission and scientific communication.
  • Cultivates relationships with influential thought leaders in the medical community.
  • Attends and participates in select national, international, and regional meetings.
  • Reviews and approves product educational and promotional materials.

 

What we’re looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Medical degree required with board certification in area of therapeutic expertise
  • 5+ years of combined clinical practice and industry experience (device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology)
  • Knowledge of clinical trial design and biostatistics
  • Excellent communication skills in collaborating with both scientific and non-scientific groups
