About the role:
Specify design, analyze, simulate, build, test, and document various electronic circuits design with high level of complexity for implantable and external medical devices. Expert in multiple areas of electrical engineering. Design expertise in the areas of RF, MRI, complex analog and digital, ASIC and circuit simulation.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at five days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Participate or lead in the conception, architecture, and development of new or next generation technologies.
- Assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment.
- As staff specialist to project teams, develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects to be carried out by self or others.
- Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
- Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System
Required qualifications:
- 10 years of experience with a University Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering with minimum 20 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and minimum 10 years of experience in implantable medical device electronics design
- Advanced RF analog design experience related to charging circuits, oscillators, tuned circuits, filters, and matching networks
- Experience with common lab equipment such as power supplies, source meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
- Advanced knowledge of Electronic Design Automation tools for schematic capture and layout
- Knowledge of Multiphysics simulation tools such as COMSOL or EM modeling simulation tools such as Ansys is preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in developing and manufacturing medical devices in conformance with Quality Systems and Regulations; specific experience with design control regulations is preferred
- Experience in electronic design for MRI compatibility and test
- Experience in design of implantable medical device system that includes the interaction between the implant, external control, power transfer between external and implant
