This role emphasizes advancing medical device solutions while integrating digital health initiatives. It requires a proactive leader who combines strategic thinking with action-oriented execution to deliver exceptional results.
Primary responsibilities include driving strategic initiatives and leading the execution of medical software projects. This encompasses managing scrums, prioritizing backlogs, overseeing design inputs and user stories, coordinating development and testing, and ensuring successful releases. Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply Agile, Lean, and User-Centered Design methodologies to execute software product and project development, verification, release, and operations.
- Facilitate software project team meetings, including Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Stakeholder Demos.
- Oversee the maintenance of product and project backlogs, creation of user stories, and development of design inputs for features, prioritizing development tasks and managing releases.
- Ensure software development adheres to internal SOPs, work instructions, and best practices for documentation.
- Adjust product and project direction based on data insights, customer feedback, and input from business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Security, Privacy, and other functions to deliver compliant software in an agile and efficient manner.
- Serve as the interface between software development/verification teams and cross-functional stakeholders on software projects.
- Communicate project status clearly and effectively to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all documented quality processes and procedures.
- Balance business and user stakeholder input to inform product and project decisions, while driving the execution of strategic roadmaps.
- Foster a balanced and collaborative team culture by integrating contributions from engineering, research/science, design, project management, and marketing disciplines.
- Stay current on Digital Health and consumer wellness technologies, external competitive landscapes, regulations, and clinical settings, ensuring a forward-thinking approach.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of direct experience as a product owner or product manager.
- 5+ years applying Agile and Scrum methodologies in product management and development settings.
