About the role:


Responsible for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for a range of departments but focused on Research and Development, performing spending and revenue variance analyses, reviewing month-end results for accuracy, meeting Corporate reporting deadlines and addressing ad-hoc requests. Works with a large number of customers with different management levels.


Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform all aspects of the monthly financial close including generation of monthly and quarterly management/corporate reporting and variance/trend analysis.
  • Coordinate the annual planning and quarterly forecast processes for the functional areas of responsibility including coordinating with the various functional groups to develop operating expense budgets and providing analytical support to identify key business drivers.
  • Coordinate 3 year Strategic plan process for functional areas
  • Support decision-making process to enable profitable growth
  • Support regular and adhoc reporting and presentations to corporate headquarters and local management.
  • Identify and drive cost saving opportunities across the SG&A and R&D functions.
  • Manage the divisional capital expenditures and fixed asset budgeting process.
  • Quickly respond to numerous ad hoc queries from internal customers (including Senior Management).
  • Develops solutions to diverse business problems of high complexity which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
  • Provide and communicate meaningful business results to different audiences



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA a plus) and 5+ years of experience in a finance function (healthcare industry a plus) OR a Masters degree and 7+ years of related experience.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Very strong analytical and process skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Must be able to assertively engage with internal and external customers
  • Advanced Excel Financial tools (Hyperion (Oracle), SAP) a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities/execute in a high-paced, global organization
