Senior Sales Compensation Analyst

 

About the role:
The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst will generate and administer sales incentive compensation plans/programs and territorial sales quotas for all field sales personnel.    You will lead and faciliate various projects or assigned responsibilities in a fast paced and dynamic environment that has broad impacts across the business unit.  Work closely with operational teams, national sales team and leadership in a highly visible role. Understand the broad scope of work and implications of decisions and how to implement and faciliate the outcomes of the decsions.  

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide analysis and make recommendations to senior sales management on effectiveness of sales incentives and quota and their impact on sales force performance.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly sales commissions.
  • Prepare and control commission incentive forecast and budgets for domestic sales divisions.
  • Evaluate current processes and interaction across divisional teams and partner to revise processes in order to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop territorial sales quotas based on performance history, territory potential data and sales management input.
  • Work with sales management to allocate quota to all levels of the sales force.
  • Work with appropriate parties to troubleshoot compensation and quota systems, data, and processes to ensuring optimal utilization of the systems.
  • Conducts statistical analysis on sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives.
  • Make recommendations to management to improve processes and support for the sales force.
  • Processing and reporting of compensation, revenue and quota and hierarchy
  • Provides sales compensation reporting and analysis to sales team
  • Manages sales compensation budgeting and accruals 
  • Modifications and enhancements to related sales compensation systems 

 

What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of sales compensation administration, finance, sales support and/or related analytical work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Must be a team player and be able to work with a positive attitude in the fast-paced world of sales.  
  • Individual should be able to build long lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the sales and BSC organization 
  • Detail-oriented but can manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.  
  • Individual should be able to balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Medical device experience
  • Anaplan experience
  • Incentive Compensation Management system experience
