We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager - Pheripheral Intervation

As the Regional Sales Manager Peripheral Interventions (PI) you lead and drive all sales and customer related activities for our PI business in Austria. Our portfolio includes Arterial (e.g. Peripheral Arterial Disease), Interventional Oncology (e.g. Selective Internal Radiation Therapy and Tumor Ablation) and Venous (e.g. Minimally invasive systems to treat Pulmonary Embolism). You will continue to develop your dedicated account teams (4 direct reports), supported by 2 shared Marketing Managers and work closely with the Business Unit Marketing Manager. You will successfully implement our operational sales framework in-order-to achieve our ambitious growth plans.

This position will be home based and may use our office facilities in our sales office in Vienna. You will report to the Business Unit Manager Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands (CHANL). You will become a valuable member of PI CHANL leadership team.

 

 

YOUR RESPONSiBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

 

  • You set up business strategies, prepare and execute the annual operating plan in line with the mid-to long term divisional and EMEA business plans. 
  • You create innovative business approaches for the Austrian Market, partnering across divisions to anticipate market dynamics & trends.
  • You will be a member of the Austrian Country Leadership team.
  • You will help us to accelerate on our customer centricity journey to distinguish ourselves from competition in providing customer excellence and value.
  • You will drive and monitor country sales performance, manage quarterly forecasts and implement any corrective strategies to meet quarterly and annual sales growth plans.
  • You will ensure Clinical Excellence in close collaboration with Medical Affairs and Marketing on new product launches, strategies, and innovative new business practices.
  • You build and maintain relationships with major stakeholders and decisionmakers at key accounts, resulting into profitable business ventures and deals.
  • You will develop and motivate a dedicated team of 4 colleagues.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD IN YOU

 

  • You have a proven track record in senior commercial management roles in Medical Devices, ideally in the field of Cardiovascular.
  • You hold a relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree.
  • You have a strong commercial and strategic business mindset whilst at the same time are razor sharp in execution and delivery.
  • You display a deep understanding of the Dutch medical, hospital and reimbursement environment, including an intensive network with key stakeholders.
  • You have demonstrated strong financial and business acumen.
  • You possess excellent communication and organizational skills and can deal with ambiguity and multiple demands.
  • You lead by example and can build and nurture high performing and engaging teams.
  • You are fluent in German and English.
