Digital Education Content specialist (instructional design)

The core objective of this role is to collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine skills gaps/learning needs, design training standard structure and develop high quality e-learning materials, partnering with external vendors to manage the content production process. The role is primarily focused on digital content development

 

Key responsibilities

  • Project manage productions with various teams and vendors
  • Manage and engage communities around educational content and initiatives
  • According to Personas, collaborates with SME (internal and HCPs) to produce or assist producing cases studies, e-learning courses and programs, video recording and editing, Zoom webinars, virtual classrooms development, Key Opinion Leader contributor’s contribution guidance:
    • Identify best practice methodologies to analyze digital customer data, segment and defines personas, applies insight on customer behavior to generate action plans.
    • Develop new methods and offerings against BSC business goals
  • Design, develop and implements Learning plans, Digital Learning content and e - learning solutions, aligned with Target Audience:
    • Presents educational content in an engaging way that connects to learner’s goal and interests (Storytelling techniques…)
    • Identify best Digital training format/ channel
    • Create new and adapt existing courses for online / blended environment
    • Work to identify external resources and vendors that specifically meet e-learning needs.
    • Monitor Key metrics to evaluate learning effectiveness: xAPI reporting…
  • Develop training standards and measurement tools to measure performance

 

Quality Systems Requirements: 

  • Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific, especially HCP compliance guidance, EU and Countries Regulations
  • Support and facilitate any field corrective action related to his/ her scope as required
  • Ensure that all products and advertisement have been through the appropriate approval processes, prior to sharing or publishing

 

Pre requesites and competencies: 

  • Proven working experience in project planning
  • Solid design background (multimedia, UX, video editing, e-learning…)
  • Experience with Digital Course Development software (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Photoshop…)
  • Visual Digital design skills and ability to storyboard:
    • Storyboard/create narrative scenarios
    • Group/cluster content & content structure
    • Edit & rework or update content
    • Maintain editorial calendars (quotes, deadlines, workflow, progress reports)
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills a plus, preferably in Medical Device environment
  • Working experience in Digital learning course and content development a plus
  • Experience in working in an International environment
  • Competencies required

  • Fluent in English. Additional European Language is plus
  • Position includes partial Home-office work
