Purpose Statement & General Summary

In collaboration with Corporate Marketing, the newly-created Content and Marketing Operations EMEA team will focus on introducing and streamlining marketing processes, platforms, and tools across all businesses and countries in EMEA. The team will be responsible for driving adoption to new workflows and governance models and continually explore opportunities to create more efficiencies and enhance productivity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead introduction of the Content Management processes and tools for EMEA
    • In collaboration with Corporate Marketing and Global Marketing Communications, define consistent taxonomy and tagging
    • Define workflows and governance models across content lifecycle (content planning, creation, storage, approval, publishing, archiving, updates, obsolescence)
    • Lead content inventory management
    • Define user roles and permission levels for CMS
    • Support selection and drive implementation of editorial calendar tool
    • Coordinate cross-divisional metadata requirements
    • Train BSC employees and vendor partners on processes, tools, and platforms
    • Establish standard localization processes
    • Work with EMEA countries to identify key requirements and pain points
    • Support countries in their localization efforts
    • Set direction and KPIs; assesses impact of new content initiatives on other projects
    • Communicate on results and best practices
    • Track performance and solicit user feedback for continuous solutions’ improvement and enhanced productivity
    • Contribute to the development of content strategy


  • Oversee the Labeling & Advertising Review (LAR) process for EMEA
    • The LAR process is focused on insuring BSC’s Promotional, Sales Support, and Training materials are meeting regulatory requirements prior to being used in markets
    • Manage the Content Analyst as primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EMEA
    • Work with the Global Quality Steward to understand the overall goals of BSC’s Global Quality System and insure the EMEA teams are aligned with the goals
    • Drive adoption of best practices across the various EMEA groups
    • Produce and share process related metrics that illustrate level of compliance to the overall process, while providing recommendations on potential improvements that will increase efficiency and compliance
    • Provide training and ongoing support to divisional/regional Marketing Process Leads (MPL) who work directly with the marketing teams in support of the LAR process
    • Work with different functional groups (Legal, Regulatory, etc.) to drive efficiency in the process for the EMEA teams
    • Be an expert with the software platform (METIS) used to facilitate the process and represent stakeholders as updates are made to the platform


  • Vendor Management
    • In collaboration with Global and EMEA Sourcing teams, lead profiling and RFPs for creative, copywriting, translation, and digital vendors.
    • Drive exclusive collaboration with vendors on approved vendor list (AVL) across EMEA divisions and countries.
    • Track performance and solicit user feedback for continuous improvements
    • In collaboration with Global and EMEA Sourcing teams, explore new opportunities for enhanced productivity, cost effectiveness, and synergistic brand exposure.


What we are looking for:


  • Based in HUB location (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK).
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experiences, with at least 5 years in Content Management.
  • Proficiency level of English (any additional European language is a plus).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Digital Asset Management systems and workflow implementation.
  • Initial experience with Adobe Experience Manager would be a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to apply data in providing solutions and driving strategic business decisions.
